Please feel the difference between the conventional high speed 2D motion (critical) and high speed 3D motion (non-critical).

High-speed 3D motion realizing non-criticality can be non-agglomeration, mixing with high homogeneity, dispersion, emulsification, milling possible!

High-speed 3D motion can be expected to further reduce mixing unevenness and further improve milling uniformity.

Weak points of the high-speed 2D motion are affected by gravity.
It agglomerates at the bottom with high specific gravity and fine material.
However, high-speed 3D motion makes full use of the inner wall surface of the container.
It is the greatest feature that it does not give agglomeration time even with high specific gravity or fine material.

Since there are no critical rotation limit in rotating ball mill and segregat- ed distribution of the sample in the common planetary ball mill, highly efficient pulverization (milling) or mechano-chemical reactions are expected due mainly to give energy to the sample quite uniformly through the 3D motion with two-rotation axes.
